We´re On A Roll - Toilet Roll?

We´re On A Roll ist das neueste Theme der Simon Says Stamp Montags Challenge und ich dachte gleich: was? Klorolle? Jaaaa klar! Die hab ich auch gesammelt, weil sie im letzten Frühjahr nirgendwo mehr erhältlich waren... (Urteile nicht....)

Und was könnte besser passen, als der hilflose Blick dieser Snarky Cat?

Die mini Klorollen aus echtem Klopapier-Zubehör sind sehr leicht zu machen. Im Grunde wie kleine quilling-Rollen: ich habe zehn Blatt Klopapier am Stück gelassen und zusammengelegt, in schmale Streifen geschnitten. Von einer Papp-Klorolle ebenfalls Streifen schneiden und mit Hilfe einer Pinzette ein Stück davon aufrollen und mit der Heißi fixieren. Danach das Klopapier aufkleben und aufwickeln. Fertig ist die Corona-Erinnerung! 

These small toilet rolls are made from toilet rolls. They are really easy to make, just like quilling rolls. I used ten sheets of toilet paper, folded it and cut out small stripes. At next I also cutted small stripes of the empty toilet roll and startet with this. Just use tweezers and fix everything with hotglue.You will see that your Corona-Memories are fast finished.

Creative JumpStart 2021 Gelli Plate Tags

 

Raus aus der Komfortzone, einfach mal was Neues ausprobieren! Ein gutes Motto für 2021. Mein erster Versuch mit der Gelliplate hat großen Spaß gemacht. Meine Hände waren auch noch nie so verschmiert wie an diesem Abend. Grundlage war das Tutorial von Martice Smith, die sehr viele Eindrücke beim Creative JumpStart 2021 gezeigt hat. Es war ein Vergnügen ihr zu folgen.

Leave your comfort zone, try something new! My Motto for 2021! My first try with the Gelliplate made lots of fun. I never had such dirty hands like I had at this evening. It was based to the Tutorial from Martice Smith. She shown lots of impressions at the Creative JumpStart 2021. It was a pleasure.

Creative Jumpstart 2021 "Mermouse" nach Danielle Donaldson

Danielle Donaldson ist meine liebste Aquarell Künstlerin. Beim ersten Creative JumpStart 2019 hat mich die Schnecke in ihrem eigenen Haus derart fasziniert, dass ich gleich nach dem Tutorial einen Aquarell-Kurs gebucht habe. Wäre Corona nicht dazwischen gekommen, wäre ich noch heute im Kurs. 

Umso mehr habe ich mich gefreut, dass ich beim Creative JumpStart 2021 nun wieder mitmalen konnte. Die "Meermaus" anstelle "Meerjungfrau ist einfach nur sehr sehr süß. Beim Malen habe ich mich genau an das Original gehalten. Herzlichen Dank für diese tolle Idee! 

Two years ago, at my first time with the Creative JumpStart in 2019 I was totally hooked to see the snail with her house from Danielle Donaldson. She is my most favorite watercolor artist. After taking part at this class, I booked a watercolor course. Because of Corona I can´t take part at the moment. 

Much more I was happy to see Danielles new Tutorial, this ultra-sweet "Mermouse". Instead of a Mermaid, it is a Mermouse - how clever! I followed her tutorial step by step and didn´t change anything. Thank you so much for this great class!

Nathalie Kalbach, die mit ihren spannenden Werken immer begeistert, hat gemeinsam mit anderen namhaften Künsterler/-innen 45 Tutorials am Start, die uns mehr als nur die Inspiration geben. To make sure, that my New Year starts creative, I decided to take part at the "Creative Jumpstart 2021". Nathalie Kalbach is wellknown with her always inspiring artworks. Together with other wellknown Artists they made 45 Tutorials, but they are much more than only inspiration. If you are interested, don´t wait to see what they do: Creative Jumpstart 2021

Nachdem ich Marsha Valk´s Beitrag angeschaut fragte ich mich: welches Material habe ich zur Verwendung und was kann ich aus ihrem extrem kreativen und anregenden Beitrag für mich mitnehmen? 

Ich erinnerte mich an ein kleines Hardcover Fotoalbum, welches ich mal zum Verwerkeln aufbewahrt hatte und kramte es heraus. Grußkarten in passender Größe hatte ich jede Menge, damit ich die Innenseiten des Album falten kann. Also: los geht´s! Das ist meine Version eines selfmade Album mit Schablonen, Gelli-Plate und für meine Verhältnisse viel Distress Paint.

After watching Marsha Valk´s Tutorial I wondered: which material do I have and what can I do with this extrem creative and inspiring post? How can I benefit from it? 

I remembered a small hardcover photoalbum which I kept to create with it. Also I had a lot of greeting cards, they fit inside of it, so I could use her technique for the pages of my Album. Now: let´s get startet!This is my Version of a selfmade Mini-Album. I worked with Stencils, Gelli-Plate and lots of Distress Paint.
