Die zweite Woche als Gast Designerin bei der Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge startet heute. Das Thema "Add Something Green" ist natürlich genial, denn "etwas Grünes benutzen" ist sehr frei in der Interpretation und nahezu alles kann hierzu passen.
My second week beeing a Guest Designer at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is getting started! "Add Something Green" is a great new challenge, because it is possible to do lots of great things! Nearly everything could suit - if there´s green used.
Alles hat mit einem kleinen Osterei aus Plastik angefangen... währenddessen ich es dekorieren wollte, stellte ich mir die Frage, was man noch alles mit den kleinen Eiern anstellen könnte... Die neue Idee war geboren! Nahezu jeder Kreative kennt ATC´s - Artist Trading Cards oder Artist Trading Coins... DAS ist ein ATE - ein Artist Trading Egg! Ich liebe diese Idee und wollte ausprobieren, ob man alle Techniken, die man mit Trading Cards oder Trading Coins umsetzen kann, auch tatsächlich auf das Ei übertragen kann? Die Antwort lautet: JA! Es geht und es macht vor allem rießengroßen Spaß!
Everything started with a small easter plastic egg... While decorating this little egg I had tons of ideas, what else I could do with this eggs... A new idea was born! Nearly everybody knows ATC´s - Artist Trading Cards or Artist Trading Coins... But THIS is an ATE - Artist Trading Egg! I loved this idea and thought about the question: can I do everything with eggs, what I can do with Trading Cards or Trading Coins? YES! It is possible and it makes so much fun!
Vermutlich gibt es unzählige Ideen, die man mit diesen Eiern verbinden kann. Der Vorteil ist, dass man sie wie Christbaumschmuck nicht wegwerfen muss und jedes Jahr an Ostern wieder Freude damit hat. Vielleicht entstehen dann Jahr für Jahr neue "ATE`s" und Ihr denkt mal kurz an mich, wenn Ihr Spaß daran gefunden habt und auch welche werkelt. Bestimmt auch ein klasse Geschenk in einem Eierkarton.
Probably there are countless Ideas to decorate these Eggs. The Advantage is, that they are useable each Easter like Christmasdecoration at Christmastime. Perhaps you enjoy creating each year some new "ATE`s" and perhaps you think at me for a small moment if you have also fun with them. They would be a great gift in an egg carton.
Ich habe mir vorgenommen Euch jeden Tag in dieser Woche ein Ei vorzustellen und Euch wissen zu lassen, wie es hergestellt wurde. Schaut also gerne wieder hier auf meinem Blog oder bei meinem Instagram Account srpaperlove vorbei um die kleinen Kunstobjekte zu sehen und lasst Euch inspirieren! Vergesst aber keinesfalls, Eure Werke zu posten und lasst mich wissen, was Ihr Schönes gemacht habt.
I have been going to introduce you each day of this week an egg to let you know, how I created it. Die Eier wurden alle mit Alcohol Ink marmoriert. Das klappt ganz wunderbar, es lassen sich mit den Alcohol Inks sehr spannende Verläufe auf der Oberfläche des Plastik-Eis erzielen. Zudem ist alles sofort trocken.
Die
spätere Verwendung entscheidet über die Gestaltung: wenn die Eier
aufgehängt werden sollen, verwendet man sie mit der bei fast allen
Plastikeiern schon vorgegebenen Öffnung nach oben. Sollen die Eier in
eine Schale gelegt werden, ist es eigentlich egal, wie die Dekoration
angebracht wird. Ich fand die Idee schön, die Öffnung umzuwandeln, damit
Schmuckelemente den Abschluss zieren können. Ein kleiner Metallring als
Unterlage reicht schon aus, damit sich die Eier später nicht drehen.
All Eggs got their marble-effect with using Alcohol Inks. That worked so well, because the surface of these plastic eggs is really good to use with Alcohol Inks and they dry very quick.
The question of their later use belongs about the direction to create them. If they should hang it is important to use the opening upwards. If they are to lie in a bowl it is your turn. I loved the idea of using some jewelry elements for giving them a Highlight. A small metal ring as a base is sufficent to prevent them from turning.
