Das Thema der dritten Woche bei der Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge ist "Recycle". Das passt sehr gut zu mir, weil ich wirklich ALLES aufbewahre und jeden Schnipsel, jeden Karton und jede Folie weiterverwende. 

The theme of the third week at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is "Recycle". That suits really good to me, because I keep really EVERYTHING in my craft room, what can be reused again. 

 

Der alte Bilderrahmen kam wie gerufen, da er von der Größe her genau zu Mr. Rabbit gepasst hat. Leider sieht man es auf dem Foto schlecht, dass ich die Scheibe nicht auf der Rückseite des Rahmens wie vorgesehen eingesetzt habe, sondern obenauf gesetzt habe. Das Band und die Knöpfe stammen von einer alten Leinenbluse. Die metallischen Elemente wurden aus recycelten Kaffee-Pad-Containern ausgestanzt und geprägt. Mit Distress Crayons lässt sich der metallische Effekt abmildern. 

Der Hintergrund wirkt sehr realistisch mit dem Korb-Effekt, der durch Distress Ink Pumice Stone entsteht. Die Stempelfarbe wird direkt mit dem Stempelkissen auf die positive Seite des Embossing-Folders Intertwined aufgetragen. Dann wird das weiße Papier eingelegt und es entsteht ein unschlagbarer Effekt.

This old picture frame fit perfectly to the size of Mr. Rabbit. Unfortunately it is not good to see on the photo that I don´t insert the glass on the back as intented. The glass was placed on the top of the frame. The ribbon and the buttons are from a linen blouse. The metallic elements are cut outs from recycled coffee-pad-containers. With Distress Crayons they look softer.

The Background looks real like a woven basket. The result is easy to get: just use Distress Ink Pumice Stone directly on the positive side of the embossing folder. Give a white sheet of paper inside and let it run trough the machine. The effect is absolutly amazing!
