"Shoot for the Stars"
Die Zeit vergeht rasend schnell und ich darf Euch schon zu meiner vierten Woche bei der Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge begrüßen. Das Thema ist wieder vielversprechend: "Shoot for the Stars".
Wie oft vergessen wir im "Jetzt und Hier" dass unsere Träume grenzenlos sind? Wieso nutzen wir unsere "Flügel" nicht öfter, um zu den Sternen zu fliegen? Diese Gedanken haben mich bewegt, einen Bilderrahmen zu gesalten, damit ich selbst daran erinnert werde.
Time goes by so fast and I can proudly greet you to be with me to the fourth week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. This week's topic "Shoot for the Stars" is promising creativity.
How often do we forget the "Here and Now" and that our dreams are limitless?
Why don´t we use our "Wings" not much more often to fly up to the stars?
These thoughts moved me to design a frame. It should serve to remind me of this.
Im ersten Schritt wird die Distress Texture Paste ganz fein auf weißen Cardstock aufgetragen. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich die Schmetterlinge mit Archival Ink gestempelt. Mit dem Wassertankpinsel lässt sich Distress Ink unglaublich gut in einem Aquarell-Stil auftragen. Danach habe ich mit reichlich Abstand Distress Spray Stain verwendet. Mit einem weichen Tuch lässt sich überschüssige Tinte gleich wieder abnehmen. Dann musste die Nähmaschine herhalten.
Damit Bilderrahmen und Stempelwerk eins werden, habe ich an allen Rändern und auf dem Rahmen Distress Structure Paste aufgetupft. Nach dem Trocknen haften die Distress Spray Stain und Distress Paint besonders gut auf der rauen Oberfläche.
Zuletzt durfte mein scribblen in Kombination mit den schwarzen Sternchen nicht fehlen. Ich habe das vor einiger Zeit angefangen und kriege es einfach nicht mehr los. Habe ich mich ins Kritzeln verliebt?
At first I used Distress Texture Paste on white Cardstock. After drying I stamped the butterflies with Archival Ink. With the Brush Pen and Distress Ink it was easy to create a watercolor-effect. The Distress Ink Spray Stan can be sprayed well with plenty of space. With a soft cloth it is easy to remove too much ink. At next my sewing machine hat to serve.
That the frame and stamped images could get one, I used Distress Structure Paste on all edges and at the frame. The Distress Spray Stain and Distress Paint adhere particulary well after drying because the surface is rough.
At least my scribble in combination with the small black stars could not be missing. I started with this some time before and I don´t know why I use it so often. Perhaps I fell in love with it?
